My most expensive bath
The thing that was highly recommended in most of the guide books during my trip to Istanbul was to experience the traditional Turkish bath. Despite it being a touristy thing to do as I believe the locals wouldn't want to bathe the traditional way (seriously, its really traditional), we just had to give it a go. That is how we ended up having the most expensive bath ever in our life. Think the price of fine dining back in Malaysia and you will have the idea how hefty the price tag was. Essential to try the old turkish bath when you are in Istanbul as recommended in every guide. So there we were researching between the 2 most popular Hamamis (Hamami=Bath), one with a decent number of visitors and cheaper price plus student discount, the other pricier with less customers but plenty of wonderful reviews. So which do you think we ended up in? Wrong. We fell for the one with the huge amount of marketing. 30-40 percent more expensive and we still chose the one with great reviews and... (more)

Mama Mia! The Movie
Okay, which one of you thought that I wouldn't be interested in the movie? When I first saw the trailer my finger shot out to the screen and screamed MERYLL STREEP!, to which Chee Weng responded by immediately cupping his hand to my mouth. I love Meryll Streep - no I don't watch a lot of her movies, but she did star in Music of The Heart which was awesome and she was awesome in that awesome movie.Who else, you ask? JULIE WALTERS *o*! She was badass in Billy Elliot, no? =3 But I think you'd all know her as Mrs Weasley instead... hmm... And you know what else made me excited? It's a musical, and it's ABBA! ;D Meryll Streep & Julie Walters (whom I love) in a musical (which I love) filled with ABBA songs (that I love). To quote Christian (ya I been watching Project Runway yo), I think I'm gonna die. In a good way. ;D

today's qoute :
"One reason we are so harried and hurried is that we make yesterday and tomorrow our business, when all that legitimately concerns us is today. If we really have too much to do, there are some items on the agenda which God did not put there. Let us submit the list to Him and ask Him to indicate which items we must delete. There is always time to do the will of God. If we are too busy to do that, we are too busy." ~ Elisabeth Elliott ~
